The search committee has a shortlist of candidates to undergo 'phone screening' in early August chosen from 37 seriously considered from 100+ applications. - Technology co-ordinator
NTR - Connect 2020 on-line
- Platform - Zoom Webinar via Indiana University
Available for the plenary and three days of presentations plus practice sessions. - Keynote speaker - Torsten Reimer (British Library)
- Call for proposals now open
Some concern that we should make clear the proposed mechanism for dealing with the 'poster session' as a traditional poster format may not be the best for use on tablet and PC screens. - "T-shirt" Design in the works
Social distancing theme. Will probably be made available so that people can have it put on t-shirts, mugs etc themselves. Thanks to Stanford for the work involved and funding the design process.

- 2020 fundraising
Spring/summer 2020 income is being tracked closely and the team will follow up with non-payers in August/September (as in past years). Of those Partners who have so far contributed, two have given more than the Contribution Model recommendation, three have given less.
Fundraising team is in the early stages of considering a possible grant application to IMLS to "corral all the good things happening and bring them back into core code". We note that Ford and Sloan have put out an RSP around digital infrastructure. - Debrief from Partner call 07/10
- Code of Conduct
No objections from Partners to moving forward with engaging professional assistance for the re-write. - Roadmap Council (RC)
The Community does have issues with engaging resources especially around Hyrax. A Community Manager should help as will a Hyrax PO in post again. They should be able to identify what needs to be corralled and to help. Goal of RC's new process is to avoid multiple, duplicated efforts and to allow institutions to add in even "vague ideas". Wiki pages also need "Already done" as an option.
- Code of Conduct
- Hyrax Maintenance Working Group status?
The charter is being updated as a first stage in revitalizing the group. - Anything for next Partner call? (standing item)
FYI: Hope to have a talk on the GWU ISIS files site.
- Community Manager (CM) appointment
- Steering Group elections 2020
- Note the election of Kevin Kochanski to the late Julie Allinson's seat and of Esmé Cowles, Brian McBride and Alicia Morris to the three-year seats.
- Non participants
The Covid-19 pandemic may have been behind some of the non-participation (voting contacts snowed under with other matters).
- Marketing
- Brief discussion of marketing opportunities and finance procedures for the Marketing WG.
