  • Hyrax Metadata Application Profile Documentation Working Group

    • Got some feedback via email, will meet 2/24 to go over it as a group and check in on Hyrax 3 development timeline

• Roadmaps Alignment Group Update (Heather)

  • Doing a Partners deep-dive about institutional roadmaps. Specifically are interested in cross-technology projects (e.g. Avalon, Hyrax) and investigating grants or other ways that such projects can be supported).

  • Group review of root IG wiki page

    • Review of Scope and Objectives in particular, did not have a SMIG meeting at Samvera Connect 2020 where the group typically reviews these.

    • Will update Fedora version referenced

  • Community metadata needs: Are there projects or needs that can be addressed by Working Groups in 2021?

    • Parent-child / complex objects and data modeling for the community

      • This has been a topic of discussion at the repo manager’s group, Hyku IG, and SMIG -- including the question of how this behaves for Bulkrax

        • Julie will report back about how this conversation is going 

    • Collections metadata in Hyrax 

    • Systematic metadata issue review in the Hyrax github

      • Metadata is tagging but there is difficulty in setting priorities 

      • Agenda item for an upcoming SMIG meeting, to review all issues tagged #metadata and review whether they are still open, needed, make any necessary comments, and determine priority
