Project Sharing
Nora: Student honors thesis workflow development.
Annamarie: OAI-PMH feed connection issues affecting ability to share collection metadata with DPLA. Unsure if it is related to local configuration or is something else. Curious about other Samvera community work and experience with DPLA and OAI-PMH harvesting.
Anna G. : remembers having to customize fields in order to map them to aggregators. Might be worth getting a WG together on this topic.
A group could create community documentation or guidance relating to OAI-PMH harvesting compatibility with Samvera products e.g. Hyrax and Hyku.
Sarah offered to share U of Oregon’s MAPs for sharing up to Oregon Digital
Lafayette and Science History Institute also developed an adapter for sharing metadata via OAI-PMH protocol.
