Agenda:
- Call for additional agenda items
- Sufia release timing / adding features to CurationConcerns (Esmé)
The question today was whether to release Sufia 7 knowing that there will be big changes coming up shortly, a data migration for Mode Shape 5 and a new UI feature, Nested Works, or to delay it until those things are ready.
The consensus among those on the call was to go ahead with the release, knowing that differences between how Web AC is handled in Fedora and Hydra won't be resolved anytime soon, that Mike Giarlo is in favor of releasing sooner rather than later, and that the changes will require about another month, but to email the Hydra tech list and get feedback from all of the institutions. Also, Esme can talk to Andrew and get more accurate information on when Mode Shape 5 really will be out.
