      • Self -Deposit repository application: H2—went into production in August 202.
      • 2013 Hydra application, made decision in 2018-19 post Hydra in Box did want to migrate to Fedora 4.
      • 2020 Kicked off new application development; reviewed use cases, feature requests and lessons learned; investigated Invenio, Dataverse, Hyrax.
      • Diverse set of stakeholders across campus and new group--SDR Steering, includes Research Office admin in addition to libraries.
      • Pushes deposit to SDR API using Cocina JSON metadata.
      • Consumes messages from SDR to inform user their deposit is complete.
      • Rails 6.1; Postfres database and RabbitMQ messaging
      • Stimulus Javascript; Live updates: Hotwire; UI components via ViewComponent library; ActionPolicy for authorization; ActiveStorage for file uploads; open source on Github
      • Content migration: some orphan content, metadata mapping issues
      • Communication and support: define distinct audiences and articulate targeted messages; just in time communication
      • Roles: admin, collection manager, depositor and reviewer; Collections containing works; content and metadata can be versioned; PURL; reconfiguring work types
