Spring Partner Meeting RSVP open
1. Partner meeting to be held in person at the Northwestern University Norris University Center in Evanston, Illinois.
  1. We have an RSVP form for it. Will be sent out via email.
  2. Want to verify enough folks can attend, all product owners (anyone who is a product owner core components, etc), tech leads, etc.
  3. Meeting is across two days.
  4. RSVP by Feb 24
  5. No room blocks, but several hotels are in the area
2. A preliminary agenda will be shared in February
3. To ease travel the meeting will be split across two days: March 21st from 1-5pm, and March 22nd from 9am-1pm.
4. Every member institution may send one in-person representative, and additionally all Product Owners and Technical Leads are invited on attend.
5. Please RSVP by Friday, February 24th, 2023.
Components Maintenance proposals

2. if your team depends on these, please consider taking one of these on.

Samvera Virtual Connect 2023 – feedback on potential dates
1. Call for program committee will go out soon
2. 2 days in week of April 24th, or in week of May 1? (2022 was May 4-5)
  1. 11am-2pm est. Late April, early May-ish
  2. straw poll was largely “either date”
Other Updates:
1. Marketing WG is now Outreach & Engagement Working Group!
  1. Open to all, see the charter for details. In 2023 we will be evaluating the motto, and refreshing and modernizing the samvera.org website.
    1. It’s a small, productive group
    2. Meet Fortnightly on Wednesdays
    3. Refreshing and modernizing the samvera.org website. Hosting on GH, a couple of wrinkles.
    4. Goal is to make the website look more modern.

2. Open Repositories 2023 – who is attending? Any Samvera-related proposals?
  1. Call for proposals has been extended to Jan 22
  2. Repository Rodeo
3. Upcoming transition to community-managed nurax testing site
  1. We are going to move it to AWS-hosted community controlled
  2. Move over user accounts
  3. @Daniel Pierce may need some additional help from folks at Northwestern. We had an initial meeting.
4. Maintenance Pledge – 1,591 hours pledged from three Partner institutions
  1. >1500 hours pledged from 3 partners
  2. Heather is willing to help coordinate time
5. Sign up for 2023 Partner Call Demos – 10-30 minutes

6. Developer Congress January 23rd -27th – Hyrax Maintenance WG is leading, but all technologies welcome to use this time for community effort

7. Samvera Connect 2023 - progress on an in-person approach
  1. We haven’t had much interest in hosting yet. Some folks were looking into whether they could host
  2. Discussing with ??Consentra??? who plans for Code4Lib
  3. Some of the ideas included streaming some of the content for a low-level
  4. Maybe Philly? No partner, but it’s easy to get to and we have a lot of friends!
  5. Concentra would handle logistics, Committee would focus on content
