  • Follow-up completed:

    • Anna checked with Jon Cameron about Avalon. There is no OAI support in Avalon. Should we include that in the documentation?

  • Revisions:

    • Review draft documentation for working group deliverables and look at how to make the sections blend cohesively.

      • Are there gaps?

      • Redundancies?

      • Is the information clear to digest?

    • Question: While Braydon indicated the use of the oai_hyku metadata prefix in Hyku, is that built into the current version of Hyku or only added for SoftServ’s clients?

  • Soliciting feedback:

    • Will share revised draft at next SMIG meeting (tomorrow).

    • Participants are requested to share the revised draft with developers for feedback as well.

    • What deadline seems feasible for feedback?

  • Final meeting?

    • Since SVC 2023 is October 23-26, is everyone free for a last meeting on October 16, 2-3 pm Eastern to review the feedback and revise the documentation before it's posted to the Samvera wiki.

  • Future developments

    • Submit OAI to be added by default to Hyrax? Nora feels that would be something to discuss with the community. It’s easy to add by following the documentation and there may be different variables that each institution prefers. Local customization may always occur. It might be something to bring up at SMIG for the Roadmaps Group to consider.

  • Thumbnail link:

    • Lafayette and OSU have a technique with thumbnail_path_ss from SOLR to provide thumbnail link

    • Hyku has thumbnail link for Hyku Commons and/or other Hyku repos?

  • Deliverables

    • After feedback has been incorporated and final revisions completed, Anna can coordinate with HGK and post it to the Samvera Wiki in time for SVC 2023.

    • Lightning talk on this work and its deliverables to be presented as SVC 2023 on Tuesday, October 24.
