• Demo from UNC of their authority ordering

  • Author order is one of the most requested feature at UNC. Rebekah shared the Pull Request for this feature in the UNC GitHub repository.

  • Implemented using an Index Field

    • Could theoretically be applied to other fields

  • Related to Hyrax issue 4781 and Hyku issue

  • Christine said that Notch 8 claims that Valkyrie does not require customization for ordering

  • Flexible metadata - hard to make too many decisions without seeing it implemented in a few systems. Should help with worktype development when setting up a repository

• Nurax - 3 in Hyrax one with Fedora 4, 5 and postgress

  • Hyku is working on their own flavor of Nurx which would have flexible metadata. Moving it to a Samvera domain
