3. Proposed Bylaw changes to move elections to 4th quarter and add Past Chair role

   1. Aligning our calendar of elections year with calendar and fiscal yea.

   2. Provides the opportunity for the current chair to speak at Connect

   3. Create a role of past chair to stay on as ex-officio for a year to keep institutional knowledge rolling

   4. This will be voted on probably mid February (Heather will be on vacation in early February, so sometime when she gets back).
      
      

4. New Individual Contributor License Agreement (iCLA) bot for GitHub and simplified iCLA process

      1. This approach will address some of the problems of the process to ensure everyone that contributes code is required to have this in place. Currently a time consuming process. It will require us to get everyone's GitHub usernames. We can work with DocHub to do the digital signature part of the process. This will not impact anyone currently signed up.
         
         

5. Scheduling Virtual Connect and Spring virtual Partner Meeting

   1. Propose Partner meeting Monday - Tuesday April 11 - 12;

      1. We may only do one day if we can't fill 3 hour blocks for 2 days.

   2. Virtual Connect Wednesday - Thursday, April 13-14

      1. Let Heather know if there are problems with these dates. Heather will also be reaching out to get help on a virtual connect committee.
         
         

6. Updates:

   1. Please sign up for 2022 Partner call demos

      1. Could really use people signing up, could be later in the year, but would be helpful for people to share the work they are doing.

   2. Sign up now for the next Samvera Developer Congress, January 24 - 28, 2022

      1. Some work happening there as work that was pledged as part of the maintenance pledge drive.

      2. Opportunity for someone to install Hyrax locally, as an orientation getting started time there.

      3. Don't need to sign up for the whole week, even just a couple hours if you have is great.

   3. 2022 Samvera Technology Maintenance Hours Pledge Drive update

      1. Blasted past 2 goals for number of hours. Number of hours there include Indiana University contributing Julie Hardesty's time. We have over 3000 hours pledged, but it's only from 7 institutions.

      2. If others can contribute hours at other times throughout the year, that would be helpful to indicate that and pledge those hours.

   4. Working & Interest Group calls for participation: 

      1. Community Guidelines Working Group - Hannah is going to facilitate, but could use a couple other people.

      2. Component Maintenance Interest Group - Having difficulty getting other people on board for, and there is a need to get people on this for their contributions

      3. Developer Onboarding Working Group - Heather has volunteered as a facilitator, but could also use more participation. Getting Samvera 101 Workshops planned, documentation and other onboarding resources are clear for new contributors.
