    1. Descriptive Working Group

      2. Group's current goal is looking at the shared data model at University of California libraries and determining if this could/should be incorporated into a model for other institutions
      3. The group will begin examining elements that have proven challenging and how different institutions have approached them

      4. Group is looking at BIBFRAME lite as a potential solution to some issues faced in current and future models

        1. a way to communicate with different caching layers for LD vocals
      3. Will be a https://github.com/projecthydra-labs/linked_vocabs gem
        1. this will be a client - a wrapper that will make standardized requests for you
        2. if repo interface is in RDF.rb, it's a wrapper that will allow you to insert this without having to change its code
    4. Segment of a File Working Group
      1. completed revisions and sent out for feedback
        1. no comments received
      2. time to turn it into a stable, official recommendation
      3. should wrap up in a week or two
      4. it's a starter for referring to segments of a file
        1. covers a lot of file types people are dealing with in Hydra apps
        2. if people need other file types, the working group can review them
