  2. Rick Johnson: Introduce Jeremy Friesen, new rails developer at ND that will be focused on Hydra related dev
    1. Starts July 1st.
    2. Will help out on gem development.
    3. Been at ND from 3 years, transfer from marketing and communications to the library.
    4. Lots of Rails experience.

    1. Date: July 16th is the next meeting ( Next week is Independence Day holiday.  9th is OR.)

  4. ActiveFedora 4.3 was released last week
    1. SimpleDatastream added 
    2. A number of deprecations

    4. 5.x work can begin on trunk
  5. Hydra-Head 4.1 to be released
    1. waiting on Blacklight 3.5
    2. Likely the last minor release of the 4.x series
    3. Once done, 5.x work will begin on trunk
    4. Wait on helper deprecations.  Chris might get to this this week.
  6. Adam had problem with some methods that use active_fedora_model_s, but sometimes that field isn't created.   We decided we'll change the code to us has_model_s
