Tuesday

  • Hydra ambassadors / helpers roam the halls, ensure that new arrivals, community members get appropriately introduced, welcomed and integrated. 

  • Big Room = HQ, Hacking Quarters. Little Rooms = Workshop Sites 

  • Need a registration desk, where everyone can sign in, get maps, and get name tags. (NAME TAGS ARE ESSENTIAL)

AM
  • 2-4 hour workshops
  • we should try to make all the 2 hour workshops start and stop at consistent times, so people can xfer from one to another

    • Half the participants stand at a station, and present their poster / demo / LT to walkers-by.

    • The other half  of participants stand at a station, and present their poster / demo / LT to walkers-by.

    • Lightning Talks (10-15 min) & Discussions on Key Points
    • Training
    • Documentation
    • Code sharing technical framework
    • etc. 
  •  Invited Lightning Talks & Discussion on Key Points (emphasis on prospective development of great interest) 
    • Shared IR
    • Spotlight / Exhibits
    • RDF in Hydra
    • Hydra & Fedora 4
Lunch

  • UNCONFERENCE. Location = Big room + Little Rooms
  • Participants self-assemble into discussion / workgroups for the afternoon.
  • SG members ensure there is some useful track for visiting managers & newbies, so they are not neglected. 
  • 4 PM / end of day: Gather in Plenary for report outs, making evening plans
