April 2014 Agenda and Notes

The April 2014 Hydra meetings will take place at Stanford on the 24-25 of April, and will have two components:

• a developer meeting (open invitation)
• a Steering Group meeting (invitation only)

LDCX, the annual developers' unconference, will be happening the 21-23 of April; Hydra developers are encouraged to attend for all five days of the week. Coming out of the January 2014 Hydra Connect meeting, key themes for the April developer meeting will be:

• Refreshing the Hydra technical core
  
  • Review and refresh the hierarchy of promises
  • Refactor the core Hydra gems
  • Augment the pool of developers who are ready, willing and able to work on the core gem set
  • Review progress on gemification overall

• Hydra RDF working group
  • Hopes and possible contributions from  Linked Data for Libraries (LD4L) project of Cornell/Stanford/Harvard - how to make this help not fork (Simeon)
