    1. OM 1.7 was released on Friday October 26. Needed for ActiveFedora release

    1. Released a version 5.0.0.rc1 because it depends on solrizer 2.0.0 (which is a major change)
      1. How it writes SOLR documents changes.
      2. Happy coincidence that it matches Hydra 5

  6. Hydra-Head
    1. Should we remove hydra-file-access as a dependency of hydra-head?
      1. Matt (Mediashelf) and Justin (Mediashelf) discussed this; If hydra-file-access is a "junk drawer", then require implementor of a Hydra instance to explicitly declare.
      2. Decision concerning maintenance of hydra-file-access should defer to number of downloads.
    2. HYDRA-862: RightsMetadata isn't getting into solr; need to add the :index_as options to the relevant terms.  See Solrizer below... (awead)
      1. Chris Colvard submitted a patch; Justin Coyne submitted tests and wrapped it up.

    1. released a, 2.0.0.rc2, 2.0.0.rc3 which actually fixes HYHYEAD-827 (rc1 was an incomplete solution). Add :index_as=>[:searchable] to your om docs!
      1. rc3 addresses edge case
    2. Need to release a full version
    3. Instruction for :index_as if you have a particular data type (i.e. boolean, integer) (awead)

    1. For some reason, bundler doesn't pull down the most recent version and I have to run from master off of Git. (awead)
