Rights Metadata

  - Interested in consolidating on RDF for coherent graphs for all object properties, including permissions

RDF List
- Limitation in RDF.rb implementation.
  - Can't use fully qualified URLs as head nodes - requires blank nodes, which causes problems with objects which are lists
  - Challenging to identify the URI of the head node - need to avoid empty lists
- General issues with ordered lists in RDF.
  - Linked list implementation - challenging to query; consensus that there are challenges with ordered lists in RDF
- Use Cases/Use in MADS & MODS. (UCSD?)
  - UCSD uses both blank nodes and fully qualified URIs as head nodes of lists
- Ordered List Ontology as alternative?
  - Easier to query - numerically ordered
- Need advice on RDF Lists for the community - RDF list in existing code base is tempting, but obstacles should be made clear - Tom Johnson will write AF tutorial on RDF lists by the end of March
