• RDF List

  • Limitation in RDF.rb implementation.

    • Can't use fully qualified URLs as head nodes - requires blank nodes, which causes problems with objects which are lists

    • Challenging to identify the URI of the head node - need to avoid empty lists

  • General issues with ordered lists in RDF.

    • Linked list implementation - challenging to query; consensus that there are challenges with ordered lists in RDF

  • Use Cases/Use in MADS & MODS. (UCSD?)

    • UCSD uses both blank nodes and fully qualified URIs as head nodes of lists

  • Ordered List Ontology as alternative?

    • Easier to query - numerically ordered

  • Need advice on RDF Lists for the community - RDF list in existing code base is tempting, but obstacles should be made clear - Tom Johnson will write AF tutorial on RDF lists by the end of March
