  3. Ongoing Digital Preservation activities

    1. The Royal Library, Copenhagen, Denmark:

      1. Updated Policy and strategy for Digital Preservation. Examples:

        1. The original digital-born object is allways long term preserved.

        2. Higher focus on emulation instead of normalization and migration

        3. Will very soon be available in an english version.

        2. Enviroment for presentation of the original digital-born objects

        3. Claus and a Curater has visited the University of Freiburg discussing their Emulation activities.

      2. Status of ePub and pdf characterisation

        1. No updates 

    3. University of Hull:

      1. New UK archivist initiative to form a group focusing on digital born materials. Chris will be making a Google group

      2. DPC award will be announced at the coming 4C conference. Chris will report at next Skype conference.

    1. Proposal: Skype call meeting the first Thursday of each month

    2. Find alternative day to avoid conflict with Hydra UX meeting. Christen will make Dodle.
