Librarian

As a librarian, I want to be able to add existing resources to one or more Display Sets to create an exhibit for public users.

Agency Editor

As a member of the agency editing team, I was to be able to create new resources in a Display Set.

As an admin, I want to configure a specific display set to be associated with a specific admin set, such that any time a work is created in the display set, it will automatically be added to the admin set and thus controlled by the workflow and APO of the admin set.

Display Set Admin

All require permissions for each Display Set effected.  And permissions to view the resources being added.

Add existing resources to one or more Display Sets

Option 1:  (consistent with existing approach for admin sets and user collections)

  • User starts from an existing resource.

  • Edit resource.

  • On relationship tab, select Display Set

Option 2: (consistent with Sufia 6 approach for adding multiple to a user collection)

  • Start from Dashboard -> My Works

  • Click checkbox beside multiple works

  • Click Add to Display Set button (new)

  • Select Display Set and Save

Option 3:  (new process)

  • User starts from Display Set

  • Click Select Work button above list of works already in the Display Set

  • User searches for resources

  • User clicks checkboxes beside each resource to add

  • User clicks Add Resources button

Create new resources in a Display Set

Option 1: (consistent with existing approaches)

  • User clicks Works -> New Work in tool bar menu

  • User fills in metadata and adds files

  • User selects an existing Display Set on relationships tab

  • Save new work

Option 2: (similar to Upload button for user collections in Sufia 6)

  • User starts from Display Set

  • Click New Work button above list of works already in the Display Set

  • Adds work metadata and files using existing New Work form; Display Set is pre-populated to be the Display Set where the user started

  • When saved the work is part of the Display Set

Option 3: (new process)

  • User starts from Display Set

  • Click Batch Upload button above list of works already in the Display Set

  • Select multiple files each of which will become a work

  • Add work metadata; Display Set is pre-populated to be the Display Set where the user started
