- UMD: are there any concerns about repository bloat? Too many OCFL objects for what we consider 1 digital object?
- working through regression now; expect to tag 8.0 in repo within next 2 weeks

UMD proceeding with moving course reserves to Avalon.
- will use existing Avalon instance rather than standing up a new one
- this will be happening in spring 2025
- potential migration into AWS cloud hosting; data center is end of life
Potential future agenda item - are we interested in a discussion session where institutions share their upgrade experiences?
- there was brief discussion about this with UMD on 5/13/2024
- NEC: Jason would love to hear from other folks about their experiences
- Emily will need to reach out to some implementers to invite them to share experiences to encourage attendance and participation

Conversation around upgrade process for institutions that have been using Avalon for awhile (how to handle code customizations, etc.)
