    • Needs minor fixes to set a couple of migrations to be Rails 6.1 compatible

    • This PR to fix issues caused by blacklight_gallery isn’t playing well with template install

  • Heather bringing question from an implementer, if this feature is already available in the most recent edition(s) of Hyrax: Our 3.6 Hyrax is capable of inhibiting visibility to records. I would like the ability for the system to show the metadata records, but not provide access to the digital object. We have a workaround for this, but feel that it would be ideal for the system to have a more intuitive way of doing this, especially in the case of batch record addition.

    1. After call, this week's notetaker should create the agenda for the next call:

      1. Open template agenda titled "Samvera Tech Call XXXX-XX-XX"

      2. Click on ... in the top right corner, and select copy.

      3. Popup will open for location. It should contain:

        1. Space: Samvera

        2. Parent page: (Verify value is current year)

      4. Select copy. New page should be created.

      5. Modify the title to remove "copy of", update it with the next date, add moderator, notetaker, and any carry-over agenda info. Click Publish. 



Notes

  1. Rob Kaufman:

    1. Hyku v6.1.rc1 has been minted.

    2. One bug needed to be fix.

    3. Needs a community test environment to be deployed.

    4. Having issues with DNS.

    5. Flexible metadata and proxy work in 6.2.

  2. Hyrax release upcoming:

    1. Fedora 6 Nurax up.

    2. Changing Docker container to Debian still to come.

    3. ImageMagick has a binary that can be incorporated into Docker setup. Per Rob, that binary may have issues with TIFF processing.

    4. Ghostscript was also a pain point in Docker containers using Debian.

    5. The install template has largely been fixed.

    6. Blacklight Gallery has been a problem for the install template because of dependency version difficulties.

  3. Welcome Patrick Schiif! Started to work with Hyrax.

  4. How to suggest features for Hyrax? Need more intuitive way of inhibiting views of restricted material while still showing metadata.

    1. Probably best way is to utilize Bulkrax which allows permissions to be set on the FileSet level.

    2. Also worthwhile to create issue to bring that capability to the UI, if that doesn’t exist.
