February 10, 2017 (UC Santa Cruz)

West Coast Regional Group Meeting

The next West Coast Hydra Regional Meeting will be on February 10, 2017 at McHenry Library at UC Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, CA.

Anyone near the West Coast who is interested or invested in Hydra is invited to attend, including Hydra implementers, developers, and interested onlookers.

We hope to create an informal collaborative atmosphere (“unconference” style) in which all attendees are encouraged to contribute and address their interests and/or needs.

If there is interest, we may plan a workshop / co-working day before or after this meeting to give everyone traveling here more chance to work together.

Schedule (tentative)

We have prepared a tentative schedule, but we are building a lot of flexibility into the day so that we can respond to the preferences of the attendees.  This schedule can change as much as we need it to. Breakout sessions can always be replaced with single meetings if we are all interested in the same topics.

Lunch:

The cafe inside the library will have a long line at lunchtime, but they accept online pre-orders if you are interested. http://amazonjuicesgvc.com/

We will also walk some groups to other lunch spots nearby if there is interest.

Slack Channel:

Sign up here: http://slack.projecthydra.org/ (an invitation will be sent to the email address you plug in)

Once you open Slack in your browser and sign in, you'll need to browse the list of channels and join #westcoastmeet17
