Samvera Connect Scholarship Awards 2018
We are delighted to announce that our hosts at the University of Utah will be offering scholarships for this year's Samvera Connect event. Through a competitive application process, these awards will be given to a small number of applicants to attend the 2018 conference in Salt Lake City, UT, from Tuesday 9th October to Friday 12th October 2018. Applications are open to Samvera Community participants and priority consideration will be given to first time attendees, early career professionals, applicants from historically under-represented groups, and international applicants.
The Scholarship Award will provide funding for conference registration and for accommodation on the four nights Monday 8th - Thursday 11th October. It does not cover other costs such as travel and subsistence. It is anticipated that the applicant’s home institution will provide financial support to supplement the Samvera Connect Scholarship Award. Participants attending as a sole representative of their institution should note the conference tradition of every institution presenting a poster on work or interest in Samvera.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 22nd August 2018. Awardees will be notified during the week beginning September 10th 2018.
