Notes

2b: 3.0 Status Update:  A full round of manual testing has taken place on RC1.  There are a few issues that have been identified and the working group is sprinting to resolve them.  The hope is to release RC2 very quickly.  The process will continue into an RC3 that will be the actually working release.  Give it a few days of examination, then the final release.

2c: Coveralls is reporting inaccurate results.  Tom is proposing that we drop Coveralls as it isn’t providing any useful information and only causing problems.    The percentages are all over the place.  Coveralls is providing a false sense of security and providing inaccurate results.

Question:  Do you think that extends to other Circle CI builds?  Not sure.  Part of the problem  could be that we are running the test in parallel, but this is accounted for in configuration.

Question: Will we replace it with something else in the future?  Code Climate is an option, but we want to keep this separate from the decision to remove Coveralls.

Chris Colvard +1. There is Tech Call consensus to remove Coveralls from Hyrax.

Next Steps:  Sending request over to Core Components to finalize ruling on conforming to Samvera name space expectations.  There is a coverage requirement for moving things out of Samvera-Labs that needs to be addressed.
