Agenda (with notes)
- MODS Editorial Committee comments
- #4 "full examples" – unclear
- Eben will reach out to Melanie to get further clarification DONE
- Looking forward
- Description of maintenance/review schedule in document
- Has been added, purposefully vague since we don't yet have a schedule for future review
- Use SMIG as main point of contact for future feedback
- maybe need to edit SMIG wiki to show more directly how to contact via samvera-metadata google group;
- maybe SMIG wiki is where update schedule for this doc should be posted
- easier to edit in future if that schedule changes
- overall IG/WG wiki template might change how things are structured and linked on wiki but SMIG should probably adjust its content in the meantime
- Update version to 1.0 and cut a PDF release
- PDF version will be created as soon as Eben figures out full examples feedback from MODS committee
- linking PDF in wiki
- Add as attachment to MODS-RDF main page, then we will use that attachment link
- version info
- Report to Samvera Metadata Interest Group
- Make announcement after next SMIG meeting (Jan 22)
- Ruth and Julie work on linking up PDF on SMIG wiki homepage
- check in at IG meeting on using samvera-metadata google group for feedback
- Future meeting schedule
- Maybe quarterly? Can also be called as needed when feedback comes in or something happens to trigger review of mapping (BF 3.0, domain we're using goes away)?
- aim for quarterly meetings for now and see how that goes
- add this info to MODS and RDF working group wiki page as an updated meeting schedule
- Updates/changes/revisions schedule
- No published schedule, this will likely be as needed?
- Opaque predicate requests, update as they become available
- Samvera Community Vocab Manager - working on RFP for Steering to review
- can ask for these predicates through URI Selection Working Group
- can create Github issues to request new properties from URI Selection Working Group while figuring out the RFP info for Steering
- can also ask for opaquenamespace.org to create properties
- TODOs:
- Submit opaque predicates to URI WG
- Julie will take this
- Inquire with opaquenamespace.org about hosting there
- Danny will send email
- All report back via email for To-Dos by Friday, Jan. 18
- Next meeting: ???
