- Connect planning committee looked at the Samvera Virtual Connect window of time, which is 11:30 to 3:30 EST.
- Who all and what times are people available?
- People tend to just show up.
- Time frame should be connect timeframe-esque?
- There should be some sort of work captain setup.
- Last year each group had a team lead.
- We also had a kanban board pre-prepped.
- Rough plan:
- Provide a wiki page of available topics.
- 11:30 AM get together and outline
- Some time frame for checking back in.
- Do we require people to register?
- Yes, because we'll need to prevent zoom bombings and such.
- We should do more advertisements for this than normal.
- We need to get deadlines for signing up for a group vs proposing a group.
- Ensure people can propose topics during the conference.
- There's about two and a half weeks between Samvera Connect 2020 and the dev congress.
- We could propose work to do before the beginning of the conference.
- We can still allow for the spontaneity of the dev congress.
- Planning proposal:
- Three weeks before Samvera Connect 2020 advertise a template for proposing topics.
- Preparatory topics
