Samvera Community Safety

The Samvera Community is dedicated to providing a welcoming and positive experience for all its members, whether they are at a formal gathering, in a social setting, or taking part in activities online. The Samvera Community welcomes participation from people all over the world and these community members bring with them a wide variety of professional, personal and social backgrounds; whatever these may be, we treat colleagues with dignity and respect.

We provide the following resources to communicate and maintain these values:

• The Samvera Code of Conduct and Anti-Harassment Policy covers all aspects of Community interaction, both in person and online.

• Anyone can report a Code of Conduct violation and can expect an immediate response from the Incident Response team

• Samvera Community Helpers are available to help anyone in the Community during events and in Community forums such as Slack

• The Incident Response Team are vetted volunteers who respond to Code of Conduct violations and follow a detailed process

• We maintain a Glossary for Samvera Community Safety policies
