  • Demo of controlled digital lending functionality (available on demo site to try out)

    • can enable CDL at collection level within Avalon

    • set default loan period (days+hours) at collection or edit it for specific items

    • only one user can borrow the item at a time (even administrators can’t view it if checked out to someone else)

    • users have a Checkouts page to view their current and past checkouts

    • users can return items early

    • site administrators can view all circulation to all users

    • not yet on roadmap to allow concurrent use (ex: licensed for 3 users at a time)
