Transportation

For those arriving by air, the Indianapolis International Airport (IND) is a 15 minute drive from downtown and is served by most major US airlines.

Options for ground transportation between the airport and downtown hotels include:

Shuttle bus: GO Green Shuttle, one-way fare $12
Public bus: IndyGo route 8, one-way fare $1.75. NOTE: When boarding bus for return trip to airport, make sure to take a route 8 bus with Airport, not Indianapolis Zoo, marked as the destination.

Megabus and Greyhound terminals are located downtown. Indianapolis is also served by Amtrak with rail connections from Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C.
