Where to Eat on Campus – Campus dining options will be available on the Danforth Campus. Check out the DUC (1853 Diner, Cafe Bergson, DeliciOSO, Trattoria Verde, and WashU Wok); Ibby's at the DUC (reservations recommended); The Law Cafe in nearby Busch Hall; Whispers Cafe in Olin Library for prepackaged options; Grounds for Change (slightly further away at Hillman Hall); or the Village.
There is a Subway in Mallinckrodt and an Einstein Bros. Bagels in Simon Hall.
Off Campus Dining:
Check the spreadsheet of nearby options. Or head north across the pedestrian bridge to the Delmar Loop; east to Skinker and Forest Park Parkway (Kayak's, 'ZZA Pizza, and Bobo Noodle House), or west towards Clayton.
Things to Do
Forest Park is one of the largest urban parks in the United States. At 1,371 acres, it is approximately 500 acres larger than Central Park in New York City. In 1904, the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, the greatest of the World's Fairs, drew more than 19 million visitors from around the world. Home to the Art Museum, Science Center, Zoo, Jewel Box greenhouse, History Museum, The Muny theatre, 7.5-mile biking, jogging and skating path, skating rink and lakes. FREE.

Missouri History Museum was originally built as the first national monument to Thomas Jefferson, the Missouri History Museum looks at the history of St. Louis from its founding in 1764 up to the present day. Discover the city’s baseball history from the Browns to the Cardinals, marvel at the magnitude of the 1904 World’s Fair and much more. Visit the History Clubhouse, a free family gallery filled with hands-on activities where kids can pilot a steamboat, learn about life in Cahokia and build a downtown skyscraper. FREE.
St. Louis Zoo is home to more than 18,000 exotic animals, many of them rare and endangered. These 700 species represent the major continents and biomes of the world. Set in the rolling hills, lakes and glades of Forest Park, the Saint Louis Zoo is always a great place to be. Open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. year-round. FREE.
St. Louis Science Center has over 700-plus exhibits to explore, the OMNIMAX® Theater, James S. McDonnell Planetarium, special traveling exhibitions and more. FREE.
The City Museum is housed in the 600,000 sq. ft. former International Shoe Company, the museum is an eclectic mixture of children’s playground, fun house, surrealistic pavilion and architectural marvel made out of unique, found objects. Reaching no farther than municipal borders for its reclaimed building materials, City Museum boasts features such as old chimneys, salvaged bridges, construction cranes, miles of tile and even two abandoned planes! Open 9-5 Tu-Th and 9-Midnight Fr-Sa. Admission $16 per person ages 3+. City Museum After Dark is 7-11PM on Thursday for $14 general admission or $19 with roof access.
