ORA4 (Oxford Research Archive v.4)

Preservation system based on Oxford Common Filesystem Layout (OCFL) and SWORD2

  • Symplectic Elements integration with Hyrax via SWORD2

  • Import/Export via SWORD2 (though this may not be optimal for a mass export/import)

  • Embellished Hyrax form system involving 23 types of object (e.g. journal articles, thesis, etc.) and around 220 fields

  • A "review process" system involving:

  •

    • team member management

    • depositor login management

    • deposited-object management (i.e. metadata changes, referrals, embargo, publication, etc.)

  • A series of Solr-query based reports required for REF

  • A Blacklight-Project public front-end

  • A bespoke ORA Fedora 3 -> Fedora 4 migration process

  • Message queue based transfer of metadata and binaries between separate deposit and review servers

ReSeeD - RDM System Beta

https://gitlab.ruhr-uni-bochum.de/researchdata/rdms/

https://rdms.rd.ruhr-uni-bochum.de

The research data management system (RDM system) is jointly developed with researchers to support their research workflow. The implementation of complex data models allows low barrier adoption for the researchers in the lab where data is being generated, early data sharing and reuse with collaborating research groups, data curation, archival (ARK) and publication (DOI) workflows. The system interfaces with native S3 compliant storage to store data and metadata.

The system is a self-service tool for researchers to store, describe, share, archive (bit-stream) and publish their data. It supports FAIR data principles and promotes the implementation of RDM and open science policy requirements. The system also supports IT, library and RDM services provisioning RDM resources, curation and publication of data, and consultancy with the system providing large of RDM demands by design.

Work types: Dataset (Datacite), CRC Dataset (discipline specific supporting neuroscience, custom very complex and hierarchical), three-step review workflow mapping research group, research cluster, and repository data curation/publication levels.
