Notes by Ryan

Jon Dunn - Chair

No additional members - follow up with specialists as identified and needed

List of people to reach out to personally at each institution - Richard may have that list

Voting contacts for each of the partners (Ryan has) -

Timing for this: March/ April - coordinated approach by end of February

In not too distant future - email content/ draft - put some thought into the letter - find text from last couple of years (Richard will link to the minutes)

For Samvera Connect - sponsorship (March 31) - U Wash - by end of March have to secure sponsors

Focus call on particular topics - every other call on sponsors vs. outreach for year

Outreach for philanthropic organizations - Danielle Robinson, DAT data transfer project Code for Science and Society (Code4science?)

JROST.org and Investinopen/ Invest In Open

Just explore - what is the strategy?  Funders attend and figure out how to put packages together

Need messaging - can't just wait for things to happen - be a part of groups, how do they compete and compliment what we do? - Getting us to sustainability

Next topic - Partner fundraising
