✅ Check on if more work needs to be done to cover all the predicates from hyrax so that they get persisted to Fedora with a real URI, particularly FITS ones. Daniel has been out on vacation since last meeting. Emory has submitted a couple of PRs to expand out predicate coverage.
Pairtree has a couple of issues within an implemented branch:
proxyFor isn’t being assigned for for FIleSets, not allowing a search to occur for the FileSet’s parent Work.
Collection assignment of visibility fails to persist to Fedora, but does assign correctly to the SolrDocument.
Emory considers the errors to block the successful implementation of Pairtree storage and their current project.
Emory is willing to trade hours with developers to move the solutions to these errors forward.
We should also consider speaking with Rob Kaufman to discuss whether SoftServ can contribute to the solutions.
Another round of operability testing was suggested. Would there need to be adjustments to the testing requirements?
Bulkrax importing doesn’t allow FileSet line items to be imported. All FileSet importing happens via the passing of file paths to the
file
field, not allowing metadata to be set via the importer.
