- Many of our users would like to be able to define a dataset
thumbnail without adding the picture in the dataset to create
this thumbnail. Is it possible in Hyrax 3 ? Has anyone already
done it?
https://samvera.slack.com/archives/C0F9JQJDQ/p1591097477171500 - Our Hyrax works since yesterday with native Fedora RDF Litteral
with language tags support instead of strings with @
attribute. We had to close the application to the public for
4H (thanks to https://github.com/biola/turnout) to convert 8000
works. Pre-production tests did not reveal much regression,
RDF::Litteral are accepted wherever strings are accepted. You
just have to patch RDF::Litteral to define "empty?" So I think it
wouldn't be very difficult to make that change in Hyrax. If
people only have strings without language tags there will be no
need to convert, strings and RDF::Litteral can coexist.
