Notes
MAILMAP Template Pull Request
Last week, Jeremy ran statistics against all community repositories (Samvera, Samvera Labs, and Samvera Deprecated)
There is a problem with determining the number of committers
There are multiple e-mail addresses for the same individuals
There are also bots which are committing to code bases
This MAILMAP tries to reconcile many of these e-mail addresses, and provide a more git-centered approach (rather than one centered upon GitHub) analysis of activity on the community repositories
Please review the repository
Huborg
These scripts were originally needed for usage at Notre Dame
Extracting these into a tool to propagate out using the GitHub octokit.rb for managing organizational administration
This is used to push out CODE_OF_CONDUCT support, and this could definitely be leveraged for more powerful orchestration between repository updates
