Hyrax Permission Working Group - 2019-12-10

Agenda:

• Review previous meeting minutes

  • Further discussion about Permission Matrix. There is a lot of data around the matrix, when reviewing it, plan to take some time. There may be a call for a README to help orient to that spreadsheet.

  • JP is having problems with logging into the Wiki

    • JP will send notes to @LaRita Robinson

    • JP will hit up @Richard Green on Slack to get permission to the Wiki

  • UX Examples

    • We discussed Google Drive's UI and Apple's slider permission

    • There are use cases about granting permission to concepts (e.g. "As a site manager I want to grant permissions to this person to create admin sets and administer their permissions." or "As the editor of this specific object, I want to grant read access to it.")

    • @LaRita Robinson will get slides to the group and @Rob Kaufman on her presentation regarding permission rework

      • Background document (see links section at end for slides and other relevant info)

    • @LaRita Robinson and @Jeremy Friesen will work on reviewing use cases through their past designed data model (as presented in above) to see how the use cases fit

    • JP will get UI examples from Rob on past implementations
