Requirements - Admin Sets vs. Display Sets vs. User Collections – for Use Case review
Agenda
- Participants
- Workflows
Notes
Agreed required features that aren't available through Admin Sets
Critical
- configure who can create a display set (e.g. all users, selected users)
- a work can be part of multiple display sets
- a Display Set can be nested in another Display Set
- landing page for branding (simple html in description, logo, title) - may become fuller later
Next Steps
- creating works directly in a Display Set (button on landing page, auto assigns Display Set in the New Work form standard process)
- ability to assign participants (e.g. Managers, Depositors, Viewers) for a Display Set
- visibility of the Display Set (can set in User Collections now)
Enhancement for usability
- hierarchical browse
- discovery within a display set (could be critical for sites with > 200 display sets)
Every work has to be part of an Admin Set.
Every work does NOT have to be part of a Display Set.
Recommendation: If using display sets, then don't allow admin sets to be made public.
Action Items:
- check when stake holders will be at LDCX
- User Collection developers ( cam156, Jeremy Friesen)
- Curated Exhibits ( justin)
- Display Sets working group members
- who else
