SUI - 2016-02-26 Item Show Pages and Github Issues

Agenda

  • Item Show Pages

    • 1-10 items without search, sort, etc.; Thumbnail on LHS -- https://wiki.duraspace.org/x/cIFmB (second wireframe at bottom of page)

      • we've moved the thumbnail to the left-hand side to be with the title and abstract and not in the right-hand side with actions and relationships

      • when items in list are less than 10 remove extra dropdowns for sorting and such

      • Do we prefer the thumbnail to be on the left?

      • Do we still like removing extra interface elements when items are less than 10?

    • > 10 items; Thumbnail on LHS -- https://wiki.duraspace.org/x/V4FmB (second wireframe in middle of page)

      • thumbnail on the left, removed date uploaded/modified from columns, item list stays in left column

      • Do we prefer that the thumbnail remain on the left, remove date uploaded/modified columns from list, and keep item list in left column to allow right column to grow?

    • > 10 items; Thumbnail on LHS, Items list full width -- https://wiki.duraspace.org/x/V4FmB (third wireframe at bottom of page)

      • Do we prefer that the thumbnail remain on the left, remove date uploaded/modified columns from list, and make item list full width?

      • May cause some white gaps between abstract, metadata if content is short and right column is longer pushing item list down. Thoughts?
