NOTES

Given the sparse attendance, this was a very short call. Some things of note:

• BPL will begin working on creating IIIF manifests for items starting in mid-July. Eben will have more to report on once this work begins.
• Jon Stroop (Princeton) created a Gist example for the osullivan gem: How to create a bare-bones IIIF Presentation Manifest w/ O'Sullivan. (This is also linked on the  Page Turners : The Landscape page.)
• Sean Ellis (Princeton) sent out a link to a gem called Spiiiffy that he developed to create IIIF manifests from METS files. (This is also linked on the  Page Turners : The Landscape page.) The Github wiki for the gem includes some very detailed and useful examples.
• Durham will begin work on a Hydra app to handle image ingests and create IIIF manifest starting sometime later this summer, probably in July or August.
