We have reserved a block of rooms for Sun - Tues nights at the Sheraton La Jolla, with a discounted rate of $129 / night. If you come in early (Saturday) or stay over to Weds, the hotel has said they will honor the discount.

Per Declan, there are two other hotels in walking distance to campus, so if you want to be there without really being there, you might also try:

The Estancia is an expensive resort (although I’ve heard they can be reasonable sometimes), and the Residence Inn is more of a long term stay place, but they have daily rates.
