- morgan - question about “2.3.3 File Format Recommendations” page. From slack thread/comments. Does new ticket capture intended info? Morgan clarify/update issue description as needed.

Discussion Notes

Community Sprint will be in June. Will likely not include Docs tasks unless some surface as high-priority.
- There could also be takeaways from the sprint that would lead to a need to simplify/remove some doc sections? If so, HGK will update the DocIG about ideas for this after the sprint.
Q: Would it be helpful to have a super simple public-facing overview page about the Samvera documentation organization overall/where to find different kinds of docs?
- consensus yes - this could be useful, potential future mini-project for a couple folks to contribute to. Could maybe link from the Samvera main page. HGK goes through the Samvera main page every December to update it.

agenda item/Q: from slack thread where in the hyrax documentation the redirects & aliases information belongs - RK is working on this for Hyrax Maintenance Working Group. Will put redirects and aliases info on the wiki, and share link/work more with Devs on the next steps.
agenda item/Q: for “2.3.3 File Format Recommendations” page and related tickets: Yes, seems OK for this page to expand to include specific info about video and subtitles. Add a TOC to the page now to make that clear.

recommendation from HGK: DocIG could continue working on tagging existing docs issues as “good for beginners” so we have a group of those that are easy to get at/point people at in case there’s energy for new people wanting to get started with contributing to Samvera Docs

morgan - start a draft of a potential “Samvera Documentation Overview” 1-pager with links

Likely no Docs priorities for Community sprint in June. Also probably no DocDays of Summer this year.
