      • Many failures seem to be manifestation of not being able to set critical things (like the indexer class) on classes inheriting from ActiveFedora::Base that include Hyrax::WorkBehavior, but not sure yet why.

    1. After call, this week's notetaker should create the agenda for the next call:

      1. Open template agenda titled "Samvera Tech Call XXXX-XX-XX"

      2. Click on ... in the top right corner, and select “Duplicate”.

      3. Popup will open for location. It should contain:

        1. Space: Samvera

        2. Parent page: (Verify value is current year)

      4. Select “Duplicate”. New page should be created.

      5. Modify the title to remove "Duplicate of", update it with the next date, add moderator, notetaker, and any carry-over agenda info. Click Publish. 



Notes

  • Rob: What is status of bulkrax becoming a hyrax dependency?

    • Daniel: Almost done with Fedora 6 support for custom query that bulkrax uses. I think the plan is to make a bulkrax generator in hyrax that gets run by default. Bulkrax would not be a dependency in hyrax.gemspec

  • Open PRs

    • Deprecation PRs: one in QA that had failing tests

    • Flexible Metadata AdminSet PRs are open

  • Next Hyrax release?

    • Need to have more QA on flexible metadata. Not likely to happen before holidays/end of year.

  • Tech lead handoff process for next year?

    • Anything urgent? Randall not planning to just drop everything.
