Outreach & Engagement Group for 2026
Is it time to re-imagine, re-charter, or sunset this group?
Charter:
Educate + inform the market
Highlight value of Samvera solutions
A few ideas: Focus each quarter of next year on a specific topic or type of work ( a few ideas for this are expanding a series of documents for decision-makers; repository showcase videos; user feedback activities; outreach to current or former platform implementers to gather specific feedback) and recruit a goal number of people to specific tasks for three months at a time.
Community conversations series - an idea for surfacing both ideas and ways to move them forward
Community Sprint Dec 1-5
Heather will work on Samvera website issues ( especially issues 156 and 157)
Is anyone else available to work on documentation during that week?
Open time for other items/discussions
Marketing comms / channels
Documentation vs. market positioning artifacts
