  • Component Rubric

    • James and request for an update from Heather regarding the existing rubric and the feedback from the Samvera Board meeting

    • Is Hyrax close to a Wings release? This will block contributors in the WG due to other higher development priorities

      • Also need to prioritize upgrading to Rails 8 release(s)

    • (Find and link to Hyrax Roadmap document)

    • Is there a need to have a rubric for component deprecation once Hyrax no longer depends upon active-fedora?

      • If there is not a Wings release with a date assigned (there currently is not), then there are no immediate plans to drop support for any current core components

      • Definitely well into late 2026 or later

    • As a result, we will need to revisit the rubric in order to actively maintain components into late 2026-2027

  • Tightening GitHub Permissions as a priority should be the most achievable
