Notes
Updates:
Pairtree paths:
PRs have been made to configure the applications for that type of storage.
Valkyrie PR has been approved and once they’ve been merged, future releases of each can support pairtree.
Default Admin Set IDs:
discussions between @Daniel Pierce and @Randall Floyd have occurred about how that should be implemented, but nothing has been decided.
Emory has a temporary fix in place.
Should this issue be addressed on both applications? @Collin Brittle believes just on Hyrax side.
Are Statistics a blocker to full Fedora support?
Not as far as testing show.
@Emily Porter shared this ticket FYI, here’s a local ticket we have re: the Statistics view in Sirenia: Error message when navigating to Statistics screen on arch · Issue #66 · emory-libraries/dlp-selfdeposit
IU can devote some testing time.
Testing for migrations is still a work in progress. Currently, Postgres is the main focus for testing, with Fedora following.
Action items
Emory has volunteered developers time to help with the Default Admin Set changes.
Will FileSet/File IDs be preserved in migration? Not likely. Considering manifests, should they? Daniel will look into it.
