Welcome

Welcome Kate!

10:05am - 10:30am

Updates

  • Samvera Dev Congress Work

  • Sirenia Testing

  • Migrations?

  • Fedora 6.5.0-RC

  • Randall made progress on Sirenia testing, at 89% passing. 2 remaining that are not passing are Sirenia specific; not sure if this is Fedora or Hyrax-based issue. Very close. Handful of untested things but not Sirenia-specific.

  • Looking for community testers for Fedora 6.5.0-RC

  • Timeline on rc3 for Hyrax 5: this week, hopefully 5.0 release next week

  • New Valkyrie release made to enable some of the Hyrax work.

  • Fedora release goal is the 29th, includes pairtree work of relevance to this group

  • Fedora 6.5 RC Testing Page: https://wiki.lyrasis.org/display/FF/Release+Testing+-+6.5.0

10:30am - 10:50am

Revised WG Objectives

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1X8zXE8Xwg4h8rP44y3NUmKqJ7NGy7SGnpCSw6SpQlTM/edit?usp=sharing

Migration testing out of scope, but considering what to include is within scope

End of calendar year a reasonable goal

Hyrax Tech Lead turn over supposed to be July 1, PO in October.

Will set this draft on Feb 29th, please review by then.

Next steps: the failing tests are outlined in the spreadsheet. Who is responsible for continuing the work? Daniel will work on the things not passing, but any help is appreciated. Currently week 1 of 2 week Maintenance Group sprint, including this work.

At next meeting: initial discussion of performance testing. Could spin up a Nurax instance for testing. Would need to modify Nurax in Github to work with Sirenia; requires fairly serious changes to the repo and the AWS instance. All the Nurax servers could use some improvements, and this could be addressed at the same time. Could get help from NU for the AWS piece. Also a performance testing plan against the use case testing. Arran will send a community ask to both communities, asking for participation in the Hyrax Maintenance working Group in future sprints and to test Fedora 6.5

10:50am - 11:00am
