Hyrax Valkyrization Update
Location/basedNear field that uses QuestioningAuthority gem
forms weren’t rendering field correctly
Daniel has an interim solution - using populator and prepopulator hooks in valkyrie changeset form to make the data look as expected by form
PR coming soon
Koppie (Valkyrie-only hyrax) successfully ingested an item including files using Fedora 6 metadata and file adapters
Required some fixes
IDs for fedora objects aren’t pair-tree
Probably want to continue pair-tree ids
Couldn’t delete an object
Still working on getting Koppie tests to pass in circleci
Aiming for 5.0 release by Connect
Avalon Fedora 6 Experiments Update
Spun up an empty fedora 6 backed Avalon and initial QA tests pass
Used Fedora’s import/export tool and migration tool to migrate a small (~1000 works) Fedora 4 Avalon instance
Brought up Avalon pointing to migrated data set and reindexed
Initial tests look good
Will continue testing both greenfield and migrated Avalon instances on Fedora 6
