  • Hyrax Maintenance Working Group update - Julie Hardesty

    • Rails 6 / Blacklight 7 / Bootstrap 4 upgrade

      • Emory University folks continuing to work on issues for upgrade - Rails 6 updated and available along with BL7/Bootstrap4

      • Rails 6 wants us to use webpacker and that might be more than we want to do to move off of sprockets, will fix some JS issues if sprockets can be used

      • Also engine-cart work remains

    • Hyrax Tech Lead and Hyrax PO update

      • Things are in the works for both but no official word yet, hopefully soon!

  • Topics and Projects

    • Hyrax-Valkyrization work

      • Potentially stalled at this point (Julie still catching up from being out)

      • Need to figure out way to focus community effort on this after Rails6/BL7/Bootstrap4 upgrade done

    • Maintenance Policy for Hyrax (draft)

      • Keeping this on agenda as reminder

      • Aiming for something final by end of summer

    • Hyku news

      • No one on call to give update but latest seems to be working towards updating Hyrax to 3.x within Hyku
