Next steps? RG to contact the British Library and explore the possibility of a keynote around their shared data repository (given the other 'big players' involved). If this doesn't work out we should ask Rosalyn Metz at Emory to contact Lauren Klein (see suggestion in linked document above). Steering have allocated $500 towards speaker costs; they would want further consultation if a speaker wanted more.

Sched.com update - Richard Green Steering have agreed to $250 to buy a Sched licence for the event. RG will arrange.
Zoom Webinar Zoom webinar provision may be dependent upon having single or parallel track provision. Decision made to offer single track only, drawing on the experience of others who have already tested the viability of parallel provision. If we are 'overwhelmed' by presentation proposals we might extend our conference day to accommodate more - keep an open mind for now. IU can probably provide single track provision (tbc) but Emory can likely offer it otherwise.

Time lines Dates agreed (these are the genuine deadlines, the initial CfP posting might have dates a couple of weeks earlier): Workshops: Sunday 30th August (~8 weeks out) Presentations: Sunday 13th September (~6 weeks out) Lightning talks, Posters, plenary contributions: Sunday 18th October (giving three or four days to assemble the slide packs etc)

Resourcing/Teams ideas/discussion Each team should have a Program Committee member as liaison, others can serve if they have the capacity. ALL: We should put together a summary of our expectations for each team and discuss our ideas with the Virtual Connect team.
