- Dev congress starts monday!! (Anna)
- Please sign up, and really try to clear your calendar for those days. Intention is starting at the kickoff and ending with the wrap, to clear that time so everyone can work together in groups on the deliverables.
- If someone wants to facilitate a topic, and someone else wants to work on it, or you want to work on it yourself, something will happen.
- What happened to the new format of these notes where the agenda items are separate? (Anna)
- Attn: Anna Headley I (Jeremy Friesen) suspect the format has not be applied to the template.
- Rework the template to make sure it is easier to quick scan. There was a previous template, Jeremy Friesen will find it and help create a new note template.
- From Slack:
Rails 6.1.0.rc1 is out, we need to review a possible impact for the 5.2.x release that we're working from.
- Could be an impact on Valkeryie, but Hyrax, Hyku, and Avalon will have the impact.
- Will 5.2.x be dropped? What is the policy? Security releases are 5.2.x. 6.1 could roll 5.2 out of that window. Not clear. Path would be upgrade Blacklight to 7.0 will come with Bootstrap upgrade from 3 to 4 which will be painful.
- Is this something for the Core Components Group? Those are in good shape. Likely Hydra head is the main blocker, but need to look through the others. Collin Brittle will bring this up with the Core Components Group.
- Jeremy gave a response to a Slack question about OAI-PMH. The gem hasn't been walked along very effectively, but seems lots of people use it.
- Samvera help follow-up
- Question to the tech list about MySQL vs Postgres that I don’t see any responses to. Is there anyone who can speak to that question?
- For Fedora data store. No one on call can speak to it. Jeremy Friesenwill respond.
