This section of the User documentation focuses on the role, responsibilities, and capabilities for the Administrator of an individual repository.
As with all registered Hyku Users, when you sign in, you are presented with the administrative Dashboard. Only the Admin however has access to the functionality on the dashboard, like t repository configuration, User management, system monitoring, and content management functions.
For a new repository, the Admin’s first steps are to:
Configure the look and feel of the repository
Establish the repository’s approach to Admin Sets and Collections
Invite Users to sign up for accounts
Begin to assign Roles to the new repository’s Users.
