Warning

The call for submissions is now closed. Thanks to everyone who submitted a proposal!

We are now opening the call for presentation proposals for Samvera Virtual Connect 2019 (April 23rd & 24th, 2019).

Samvera Virtual Connect provides the Samvera Community with a cost-effective, informal opportunity to share the work occurring in our institutions and via our collaborative efforts.  Virtual Connect occurs entirely online, from your desk. Those delivering talks will present via Zoom.us to a live audience across the globe, and will have their presentations recorded for asynchronous viewing.

We’re looking for submissions from across the entire Samvera landscape, including both local development and community work, as well as reports from Interest and Working Groups.

This year’s Virtual Connect will have two days of programming, during which we’ll be coordinating presentations into thematic blocks based on topic, audience, and time.

To submit a proposal, please prepare the following:

  • Title

  • Abstract

  • Description of Intended Audience

  • Format (20 minute presentation, lightning talk at < 10 minutes, Working Group/Interest Group updates at ~ 5 minutes)

  • Date preference/availability

To submit your proposal:  https://goo.gl/forms/mM55M2ixq5nQMUiv1

The deadline for submission is 2/15.

We look forward to your submissions and learning more about the developments and successes of the Samvera Community.
